2015 Welsh Championship Awards at

The Welsh Racing Drivers Association end of season event.

Hi this is to give all everyone notice of our traditional end of season event.

 

The date you need to put in your diary is Saturday 7th November and the venue is the AA 4 Star, Miskin Manor Hotel - (it is ½ mile from J34 on the M4)

 

In the late afternoon (i.e 5.45 pm) we will have a meeting where we can review the 2015 season and hear about plans & ideas for 2016. This will be in the Willow Room.  It is at the back of the hotel and there is a rear car park that directly leads to the Willow & Terrace Suites for those who aren't staying overnight.

 

Then in the evening (7.00 for 7.30) we will have the 2015 WRDA Annual Dinner

The New menu will be

Leek and Potato Soup with home-made bread roll

Roasted Chicken Breast, Sage and onion stuffing, pigs in blankets, roasting sauce

Apple Crumble, served with a choice of ice cream, cream or custard

 

 

Nb There are Vegitarian Options - or Please indicate if you have other Dietery needs I.e Gluten Free

 

The dinner will be followed by the 2015 Welsh Championship Awards

In addition to the Class & Overall Awards there will be

'Novices Award' for the highest scoring driver who has not previously held a Car racing licence,

‘Newcomers Award’ to the best newcomer. (as judged by the Championship Committee)

'Ladies Award’

And Other surprise awards!

 

Then it will be time for the movers & groovers among us to get ready,

as we have again booked the singer Dave Bartlett,

who will join us to round the evening off in style!

 

Cost will be £34.50 per person. Maximum number on a Table would be 10  Book Now!

From the wine list for instance a bottle of house Red or White wine is £21.95

A pint of lager is £3.95 - a pint of bitter £3.85.

Vodka & Mixer  is £3.55

N.B The bar will close to non-residents at 11.30 pm

Rooms are available with B&B at a cost of £115 for a twin/ double Room £90 for a single.

N.B If you are booking rooms at the Miskin Manor, you have to make sure you insist on the above room charges.

(A non-refundable deposit of £50.00 is taken on booking and then full payment is on departure).

  Please book your rooms early as there is usually a wedding on the same day, so rooms will go quickly.

N.B re Health Club facilities.  Free for  Residents, but a day pass for non-residents is £5.00 per person

 

 

BTW There are plenty of cheap alternative Hotels in the area. i.e Premier Inn –Ibis etc
