Pembrey Test Day
It was generally wet, and sometimes very wet, but a handful of hardy souls braved the elements to get some test laps in. Of the familiar faces, Tony Allitt was getting used to his new Honda Civic Type R, while Alvin gave his Mondeo some quick laps. Mike Wood put some laps on his Honda and the Chris (Lofty) Everill had his Ginetta and Paul & Dominic their Rover.
Amongst the new runners Nigel Pike gave his Marcos a rumble and The Humphreys had a spun in their his n hers Caterhams. Biker convert Russel Hagerty had a run in a K series Rover, but newest of them all Jason Davies was having a run in the trademark family Escort RS2000 and he certainly looked like a chip of the old block. Unfortunately the first round of the championship coincides with a tarmac rally at Talbenny the classic West Wales venue, so well have to wait for the father/son combination in the Welsh Championship
Finally Glynne Jones showed up to give a blast from the past with his Alfa.
Rock on Glynne!

Spent most of the day at a very wet Pembrey for Test Day and got home in time to watch THE MATCH, perhaps we should have some stickers for the cars to acknowledge the great achievement. But big welcome to our new competitors who turned up to day. Thank you, I think you will enjoy the Championship.
