Hi All, Thanks to all & Thanks to RJM Motorsport

Unfortunately the season has come to an end but what an end, 3 cracking good races to finish off which shows our new format is working.

Congratulations to Rhys on winning the Championship and I think we all wish him well in going for the double by winning the LMA Championship on 1st November. Hopefully I will be there to report back for the Championship. There was a good party going on in Rhys's awning after the race on Sunday but unfortunately I had to go back to race control as was radio operator for the day so I will have my pint with Rhys on the awards night. Congratulations also to the Class Winners, Steve Humphreys Class A,( who could not make the weekend through car problems) Mark Nicholson Class B and Alvin Powell Class D.

In the awards giving on the Sunday Mark gave thanks to Muzz racing ( Ken Rattenbury ) and Martin Davies in helping him get his car ready for Sundays race after "an off " on Saturday afternoon. Without that help Mark may have not made the race and lost out on the Class win to Jason ( Martin's son). So that shows what a great camaraderie we have in the Championship. Another good example of this was the help Muzz gave to a newcomer guest Wayne Osbourne (friend of Iggy Chris Morris) who's roll cage fell foul of the scrutinners, but
with welding help from Muzz was able to get out and had an enjoyable weekend. Wayne was surprised how friendly every one was. So Wayne please come back next year.I know that this e mail will be read by some of you who have shown a bit of interest in our Championship but not joined us yet. Well see how we all pull together so please come and join us sometime next year.

BUT THE BIGGEST CONGRATULATIONS MUST GO TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE COME AND ENTERED THIS SEASON AND MADE THE CHAMPIONSHIP THE
SUCCESS IS HAS BEEN THIS YEAR. A BIG THANK YOU FROM ME AND THE STEERING COMMITTEE.

So hope we can build on this year and make 2009 better, so you must all know someone who has an eligible car so please talk to them and get them along.

On to 2009, the WRDA AGM followed by the Championship Conference will be held in the Ramada Jarvis Hotel Swansea on Sunday 7th December at 14.00 hrs More details to follow. Please put this in your diary now. Any potential new competitors are specially welcome.

The Awards Night will be in January and a great night it will be, well it is organised by Ken Rattenbury so what else would you expect. All for now folks Alan Jenkins

I would like to thank you and Bob for bringing your cars down to support our Championship both this weekend and in September. very much appreciated. I hope Lucas and Lars have enjoyed their races with us, please let us know how they get on in Dubai so we can put something on our website. So in the future if you have any drivers you are bring on to gain experience or you know any other team doing the same please consider us as we are always open to guest drivers and happy to help novices plus we are a friendly group. Again many thanks Liz and please give our best wishes from the Championship to Lars and Lucas for Dubai. Best regards Alan

You beat me to it as I wanted very much to thank you and everyone at Pembrey Circuit for making us so welcome, you certainly are very much a friendly group and the team were very happy to be able to make a return visit. We hope to visit you all again in the future, I will let you know what happens in Dubai and please keep an eye out for the final show which I believe will be televised next year.
