Singleton awarded Best Up & Coming driver.

WRDA member Richard Singleton, the North Wales driver who stormed to the BARC Formula Renault Championship in 2006, was awarded the BARC "Best Up & Coming" driver, at the prestigious BARC annual awards ceremony for his efforts in winning the Championship at his first attempt.

Following his success Singleton, who is still only 17yrs old, will move up to the Renault UK championship for the forthcoming season and has been snapped up by Manor Competition team (formerley Manor Motorsport), one of the top teams in the championship, who made a determined effort to sign Richard after being impressed by his efforts. The Renault Uk Championship is the big brother to the BARC series and supports the British Touring Car Championship. The first race in the championship is at Brands Hatch on March 31^st.
