No luck for Welsh TV stars!

Neither Jason Davies nor Alvin Powell had much luck in their televised races last weekend. Jason qualified 4th and started well in the Motors TV Live round of the CTCRC Burton Power BOSS Championship for Ford saloon at Silverstone on Saturday, and taken the lead on lap 2 led the race until lap 7. Then suddenly he began to slow, having just set the races fastest lap on lap 6 and eventally pulled off!  Andy Williams was also there and finished 9th! In the second non-televised race on Sunday the roles were reversed when Andy retired only a few laps from the flag whereas Jason stormed through the field to score some valuable points!  Jason tweeted 'Thanks for the best wishes, sorry I couldn't bring home the spoils for the Welsh in the televised race! The 2nd race on sunday went alot better, we started 35th and managed to get back up to 3rd by the end and managed to bag the fastest lap which is a nice bonus!

As for Alvin in the HSCC Super Touring Car Championship at Oulton Park, he was 10th fastest in practice just behind Keith Butcher and finised in 11th sandwiched between the Nisssan Primeras' of Dave Jarman and Keith! There was a lot of online comments about people who loved seeing the Alvins' Mondeo with the rear bumper hanging off as it reminded them of the old days!
