Little Joy for Matt in Jerez Formula Renault
Eurocup finale!
Matt Parry had a weekend to forget at
Jerez. Speaking later Matt said 'It was another difficult
weekend. We've had so much bad luck this season. My best lap in
Quali 1 got wrecked by a red flag. Then some one spun in front
me in Race 1 causing carnage. Quali for race 2
put us a disappointing 6th and that's were we finished!!
(NB there were 27 starters) On the
positive side (yes there is one
somewhere), I finished in 11th place in the
championship!' Matt, the 2013 WRDA Welsh Young Driver of the
Year, driving with the Fortec team, has not seen fortune
favour him too often in 2014, so to finish just outside to top
ten is a worthwhile effort in such a strong series.
