Jann Mardenborough aka
@Jannthaman scored well at Spa Francorchamps in the latest rounds of the
2014 GP3 Championship. Driving a Dallara Renault GP3 car run
by Arden Motorsport, Jann suffered what he called 'a Messy
practice session' to Qualify in 4th place for both races!
Despite having to cope with typical Spa weather with
Race 1 in dry/wet conditions an Race 2 s run under sunshine
but in damp, foggy and chilly conditions, Jann managed to
convert his starting positions into to 4th on the road in
both races! Jann
is still in 9th in the points table, but has almost twice as
many points as the 10th place man! He is now 9 points
behind the highly experienced Dean Stoneman and has scored 6 times in the last
6 races, including his maiden GP3 race victory! His mates at
@NISMO_Global reckon if the GP3 season had started 6 races
ago he would be 2nd in the championship!
The next race is on 5 - 7 Sep at
Monza, supporting the Italian Grand Prix.
