Jake Rattenbury nets a podium place as the Welsh blitz of Silverstone continues!

Driving in the highly competitive AM Class in the 2014 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trophy Europe, young Welsh driver Jake Rattenbury from Wenvoe and his team-mate Jan van Uystel driving a Lamborghini Galllardo were 2nd fastest in their class for Saturdays’ 1 hour  race. Jake  found himself boxed in at the start and then was unlucky whilst under the safety car but made up places before handing over to his team mate. The car eventually finished  Saturdays’ race in 17th overall,  5th in the big 9 car Am Class. On Sunday things were different and the team-mates brought the car home in 14th overall,  3rd in class for a well-deserved podium place on a great weekend for Welsh racers!

Jake shares the Race 2 AM Class podium with winner Simone Pellegrinelli  and 2nd place Abkhazava.

Jan & Jake are now Joint 5th on the AM class points standings
