Jason & Alvin Star on Tv this weekend (Wales has got talent!)

There is plenty of motorsport on Tv this weekend, but keep an eye out for Jason Davies & Alvin Powell.  

On Saturday Jason is looking to star on Motors TV as the M& S team heads to Silverstone for the latest races in The CTCRC Burton Power BOSS Championship for Ford saloons.  Jasons’  race will be on Motors TV, on Saturday afternoon with Live coverage starting at 13.20. Jason is Joint leader of Class A2 after taking an outright Win and a 2nd place at Snetterton in May with extra points for the fastest lap in both races.

Jason & his dad Martin, had a lot of work to do to repair the damage to the left rear suspension that the 2wd Sierra Sapphire picked up at Pembrey which caused the race 2 red flag!  Martin confirmed ‘When we got the car off the trailer we found the rear suspension arm and the wheel bearing was broken! At the same time we changed the axle shaft as we couldn’t be certain about it. It was perhaps lucky the damage was mainly mechanical, which we can sort out, as we would have to send the car out if there was body damage. We’ve still got to sort out the bumper but I hope that’s fixable’  The remaining British rounds of The 2014 The CTCRC  BOSS for Ford saloons Championship are on July 26/27 at Cadwell Park  and on September 6/7 at Brands Hatch .

On Sunday on ITV4 keep your eye out for our very own Alvin Powell who will be looking to pick up some stardust in the Rapid Fit Mondeo racing in the HSCC Super Touring Car races at 4pm Sat and at  4.15pm Sunday. This is as a part of over  6 hours of BTCC coverage. ( Saturdays race will be streamed live over the Internet so it’s laptops/tablets/computers at the ready)
