Matt Parry, the 2013 WRDA Welsh Young Driver of the Year; has gone on to win the Autosport McLaren Award. There is a full report in this weeks’ Autosport magazine, so there is a good reason to buy it this week, or get it in the internet via http://www.autosport.com

wpe22.jpg (28194 bytes)Andy Meyrick, also a former WRDA Welsh Young Driver of the Year in 2008, will be driving the awesome Bentley Continental GT3 car in the Gulf 12 Hours on the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. The event follows a special two-part format with two six hour races, separated by a two hour break in which teams can work on their cars. The second six hour race is a day/night racing on the floodlit Yas Marina circuit. The Bentley Continental GT3 is built and run by M-sport which is run by rally legend Malcom Wilson, who helped Ford win the World Rally Championship  Manufacturers title in 2006 and 2007, and Bentley are hoping that he can bring them as much success in the GT3 category with their huge Bentley Continental powered by a 4 litre twin turbo V8. Lets hope it’s on TV somewhere!
