Turn of the Screw starts to turns round Hywels’ season

WRDA member Hywel Lloyd narrowly missed out on the points at Silverstone after a welcome boost at Spa Francorchamps.

Harry, Hwyels’ father and team manager confirmed "We seem to be back on track and are making some real progress. We have re-structured the team and that is now bedding in. Hywel wasn’t happy with the way the car was handling at places like Snetterton and Donington so we stripped it down and found one of the front suspension components was in the wrong rotation. We changed that and Hywel has been a lot happier. We are now close to the top ten in qualifying and we feel a podium finish is not too far away." Hwyel was unlucky at  the difficult to ovetake Silverstone International circuit , failing to finish the first race after a clash with Canadian driver Phillip Major. In the second race he was 11th, the fastest Honda driver, less than half a second away from the last point scoring place.

The next race in Cooper Tyres British F3 International Championship is at Portamao in Portugal..
