2008 Welsh Championship - the word is out & drivers are coming in!
Plans for the new style 2008 Welsh Championship are attracing attention with news items in Motorsport News and Autosport adding to the support. Already several drivers have thrown their hat in the ring and we should be having good support in all the class, and it looks like 1601 to 2 litre class will be strong.
The class are
Class A -Modified Saloon & Roadsports up to 1600 cc
Class B -Modified Saloon & Roadsports from 1601up to 2000c.
Class C-Modified Saloon & Roadsports over 2001cc.Class D - British Touring Cars & Re-Engined Modified Sports and Saloon Cars.
Also new for 2008 will be 3 races over the weekend to give the best value for money.
There are also Marque awards if we have over 4 cars from one manufacturer and awards for the Best Newcomer and a Best Lady award.
